Buy this - the other reviewer is clueless
The great thing about the internet - any one with a keyboard is an expert. The first reviewer is absolutely clueless.
The faucet fits on the wall of a clawfoot tub perfectly. And the Kingston Brass double offset water inlets number CC478 fit perfect. I know, I have installed two of them.
I think the other reviewer did not know that with clawfoot tub faucets, you need special water supply lines. You cannot use off the rack lines. You cannot get clawfoot tub faucet water supply lines at your local HD or plumbing supply house. Clawfoot tubs that mount on the tub wall use single or double offset supply line. You should buy them at the same time you get the faucet. The ones from Kingson brass fit perfectly. All the fittings on the facucet are standard 3/4 or 1/2 inch pipe thread.
The faucet is VERY well made, solid brass and beautiful brushed nickel. It installed in about 15 minutes.

Don't buy this
I've had this faucet about a month - in the box - since November 7. I have been trying to find fittings to connect this faucet to the water supply. First I went to local plumbing suppliers. They don't have any parts that fit. Finally, I called the manufacturer. They were very nice and told me what part I needed and where I could get it. Well, I received the part in the mail yesterday and guess what? It doesn't fit. So, tomorrow I have to call the manufacturer again and find out what they are going to do about it. I'm tempted to send it all back but the faucet is actually beautiful. Unless you have a lot of time, don't buy this faucet.
By the way, the wrong water supply line that I was told to purchase cost $65.59. I'm sure the correct part costs more or less the same. Since this is a non-standard faucet, you will want to add the the cost of the supply line connection to the total cost of the faucet. It makes the price that much less appealing. If you decide to...
