This grab bar is an excellent value! It's easy to install and very sturdy. I highly recommend this grab bar for anyone who needs a stable handhold when getting in or out of the tub or anywhere that an assist for support is needed.

Stainless 24-inch grab bar
Moen R7424 Stainless 24-Inch Grab Bar: I actually bought this as a hand handle for the dock to help getting on and off the boat. This is a very good quality bar and should stand up well over time.
A Real Comfort Bar
I had purchased a similar Grab Bar and installed it on my Basement Stairwell two by four rail. The safty feel of this Grab Bar made me find another to finish the lower half of the stair rail. I looked thru Amazon.com for a bar like I had purchased but could not find it. The Modle R7442 looked very good and its cost was reasonable, so I purchased it. It was very similar to the original except the bar was slightly smaller around. This was only a sight visual difference and on my basement stairwell, of little difference. The bar installed in good order with the included screws and is very sturdy just like the former installation.
