good concept
i wouldnt count on this to seal the around the tub. but it will make a nice backer for a caulk joint, which will seal your but to tile joint.
if i did this over again i would just use some metal flashing between the tub and the framing to back up the caulk joint. easier cheaper and better.

ORDER WAS FINE
Got the order one time . I did think that the flange would be a little larger, But that it
Wasn't sticky anymore
The plumber who installed the tub said it wasn't sticky anymore and he had to apply using glue, but the plumber did get it to work.
