It works, but...
Its a plastic chair. That you can put in your shower. It screws together with !nine! thumb screws that take forever to put in and come loose periodically. The seat and the back are identical pieces of plastic so don't expect great ergonomics... but that is not what it is for, anyway. So I guess the point of this review is- the item works, but it is pretty cheap and no-frills. You might want to consider looking for something a little bit better that assembles more easily and doesn't loosen.

Better made chair
This aquasense adjustable bath and shower chair is a lot better then the last one I bought. The last one I bought was made buy some other company and it rusted out and one of the legs cracked in half due to rust. This won't rust and should last a lot longer then the first one I purchased. I also like the idea that the legs are adjustable. I'm completely happy with this chair.
Good to have
Purchased this for my mother, who lives in an "independent living" apartment. As she's gotten older and weaker, it's harder for her to stand up for long periods of time. We wanted a seat with a backrest and adjustable legs and this fit the bill perfectly.
