Drive Medical Michael Graves Bath and Shower Seat
I was browsing the internet reading about famed architect Michael Graves (a fellow New Jersey resident) and his designs, and I came upon an article about his recent paralysis and how, as a result of that, he was now designing medical equipment to assist other handicapped people. At the same time, my mother had just come out of rehab and needed a shower chair. I read that Michael Graves had designed a chair, and as he is a talented, award-winning architect/designer, as well as being in a wheelchair, I knew it would most likely be better than any other on the market. I found it for a very reasonable price on Amazon (the best price on the internet or any store that I found). My mother loves her shower chair. It has made her life much easier. Fits easily into her somewhat small tub/shower. Legs and back support are easily adjustable. Easy to clean. Supports substantial weight. Overall, extremely satisfied with my purchase. Bath seat
I purchased this seat for my 90 year old father. He had looked at medical supply stores for a seat that would fit his narrow tub/shower and had found nothing. This seat fits great. It was easy to assemble. He did decide to remove the back because it made him feel as if he was tilting forward a bit. I am very pleased that this purchase has helped him.
no information on return policy!!
We received the chair, took it out of its box and realized it was twice as big as our shower could hold. Put it back in the box, never used and contacted company on return procedure and was informed we could not return it due to sanitary laws. We would never of purchased a shower chair if we knew it was not returnable. Your return policy on these items should be stated CLEARLY before you took our money!!!!!! Now we are stuck with a $54.00 chair. Dimensions were misrepresented on web site.
