Excellent Product
I use Lexel for glass on glass mosaics and for gluing together anything that I used to use clear silicone for. If you can be patient and wait for the item to cure for a full two weeks, you will not be dissapointed. It is so clear, it's unbelievable. I don't have problems with the glue clogging up the end of the tube because I wrap the entire tube in plastic wrap between uses. This keeps the air out. The tube should be used within a year of purchase for best quality.

Not a normal caulk
I bought this locally, not through Amazon, but felt I should review it here. I'm building a teardrop trailer, and based on reviews and advertising decided to use Lexel as an adhesive / caulk on the exterior surfaces. As a caulk, it's somewhat tricky. The product is stringy as it comes out of the tube, and seems to skin over quite quickly. In comparison, siliconized acrylic caulk is extremely easy to use and smooth out, and is easily removed if it gets someplace you didn't intend it to get, but I doubt if it's as long lasting as Lexel and is certainly not as flexible. Silicon caulk has its uses, but is known to perform poorly on aluminum which is what my trailer has a lot of. If you're planning on using the "finger" method to smooth it out, make sure you wet your finger with soapy water because Lexel sticks to anything, especially your finger. If you're using this in an area where it will be easily visible, be prepared, because once you shoot it someplace, it refuses to be...
YES - Finally!
Unable to tell HOW MANY tubes of other caulk we've tried in our bathtub & none of them held up. They all disintegrated or eroded from the water over a short period of time. THIS ONE DOES WORK! Made sense to me - if it worked on boats it would work in the shower & withstand the water (despite my husband disagreeing that I couldn't use it in the house - worked great!). Did take 2-3 days to be completely dry before we were able to take a shower but well worth the wait! If you buy it I suggest cutting the tip a little bigger than you'd expect before applying, otherwise it's hard to get the caulk to come out evenly.
