exact replacement
This was an exact replacement for my bath lever handle and fits perfectly. But you may want to think twice about getting this handle because it has a problem with corrosion (based on my experience and reviews online). Once the set screw corrodes and gets stuck, you'll have to drill the screw out to get the handle off. Might be worth considering getting another lever assembly if this is how your old one broke.

Consider this a defective part
No one, least of all Delta will tell you this part has an inherent design flaw. The set screw which holds the handle to the water cartridge (in the shower valve housing)is completely exposed to water, lime, rust, soap deposits, and anything else in your shower. When you are running the water the set screw opening faces the shower head and anything and everything drips in there. After years of use the set screw becomes seized and if your shower every starts to drip and you need to change the cartridge you will need to drill this handle off the wall and it becomes a paperweight.
Do not buy this part, its garbage and Delta should have recalled all of them. If you want to spare yourself having to spend hundreds on a plumber or buy tools you don't have to replace a shower cartridge in the future, you should consider purchasing the DELTA H71 shower handle knob. Exact replacement for my Delta faucet. Needed to replace my original lever handle when the locking screw stripped. Not much more to say, it works.
