Great Replacement Product; Small Fit Problem
My wife and I moved into our first home a few years ago. We're getting ready to rent, and we noticed that a lot of grime and/or old mold had grown on/in the knobs on our bathtub handles (we have two). I ordered these, and was thankful to find a replacement product that was relatively cheap. The arrived quickly and looked great. I went to install and found a little problem. The inside of the knob where the little latch from the tub inserts is shaped like a horizontal rounded rectangle - the old knobs that we had, the connection was vertically oriented with little "wings". We have Delta brand faucets, and these are built for Delta brand faucets, but I guess ours are just really old. Anyway, I simply used a drill bit to modify the insertion point on the knobs, making it fit the piece on our faucet. They work great, and they look fantastic. My wife loves them, and it was a cheap, easy fix.

Shipping cost almost as much as item
The item was fine, but the shipping cost was exorbitant.The packaging was just a mailer envelope, nothing fancy.
Delta Faucet
It appeared it was a Delta Faucet but it turned out, it wasn't. It didn't fit. This would be a 5 Star rating for someone else, if it fit.

Great product
This valve body is a great product.I purchased the item for a direct replacement for a long stem diverter replacement. This unit however has short stems and it takes differrent handles.
It would help to list the item with stem length shown. Just beware.

Valve Body Makes for a 100% Job!
Replacing the valve body when replacing a tub and shower set makes for a 100% job! Some would suggest that replacing the valve body when you replace the faucets and shower diverter makes for a worry-free installation that will last many years to come!
Does what it is supposed to do!
Great product, easy for the plumber to install, works very well, only the handles toook some getting used to as they turn in opposite directions to each other - otherwise a great product!

exact replacement
This was an exact replacement for my bath lever handle and fits perfectly. But you may want to think twice about getting this handle because it has a problem with corrosion (based on my experience and reviews online). Once the set screw corrodes and gets stuck, you'll have to drill the screw out to get the handle off. Might be worth considering getting another lever assembly if this is how your old one broke.

Consider this a defective part
No one, least of all Delta will tell you this part has an inherent design flaw. The set screw which holds the handle to the water cartridge (in the shower valve housing)is completely exposed to water, lime, rust, soap deposits, and anything else in your shower. When you are running the water the set screw opening faces the shower head and anything and everything drips in there. After years of use the set screw becomes seized and if your shower every starts to drip and you need to change the cartridge you will need to drill this handle off the wall and it becomes a paperweight.

Do not buy this part, its garbage and Delta should have recalled all of them. If you want to spare yourself having to spend hundreds on a plumber or buy tools you don't have to replace a shower cartridge in the future, you should consider purchasing the DELTA H71 shower handle knob. It will also fit your 1300/1400 delta shower faucet. The set screw is completely closed off to harmful agents, rust, and...
